In order to help her family who lives beside a train track, Happylou, a lechon store assistant, agrees to be transferred in Cebu for work. In Cebu, she begins the search for her father, whom she has never met, and her adventure brings her to meet the characters that will give answers to her lifelong questions. She meets Sir Philip (Ricky Davao), a rich and kind Cebuano businessman who is longing for the love of a child. They became close and when Sir Philip had a heart attack, Happylou was the one who took care of him. Sir Philip will help Happylou find her father, and in return Happylou will help him with Patrick (Derrick Monasterio), his suplado nephew who does not know how to be compassionate with their employees. Dealing with Patrick did not come easy for Happylou as Patrick's mother Amanda (Gladys Reyes) and his girlfriend Ericka (Kim Rodriguez) perceive Happylou as a gold digger. They will do everything to prevent Happylou from being close to Sir Philip and make her life difficult especially when they find out that Patrick is slowly falling in love with Happylou. Things will get more complicated when Sir Philip dies and leaves all his money and estate to Happylou. Will Happylou be truly happy now that she has all the riches that she dreams of?
